WAA 2006 Minor Prep Fall League

Coordinator: Tom Bellucco 

 
When: Practice on Monday and Wednesday, Games on Saturday
  Begins September 9, Ends October 7
Time: Practice 6:00 PM Until Dusk
  Games 10:00 AM
Location: Empire Park
 

Schedules:

  • Mondays: Group 1 is on Field 1 and Group 2 is on Field 2
  • Wednesdays: Group 1 is on Field 2 and Group 2 is on Field 1
  • Sept 16:  Fields 3 & 4
  • Sept 23:  Fields 1 & 2
  • Sept 30:  Fields 3 & 4 
  • Oct 7:  Fields 1 & 2 
Format:
  • Practice sessions on Field 1 will concentrate on baserunning and fielding/defense.
  • Practice sessions on Field 2 will concentrate on pitching, catching, and leading. More individualized fielding training will also be available.
  • Games will be informal and very instructional. Coaches will be in the outfield and behind the pitcher. As needed, coaches will pitch. Pitchers will change each inning, and a pitcher can return to the game if needed. As each play ends coaches will instruct players on both teams as needed.
