Webster Athletic Association (WAA Baseball), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) youth baseball organization, has been serving the community for over 50 years and charters teams with Little League Baseball for over 30 years. This past year, over 1,000 boys and girls participated in our programs. WAA is dedicated to providing youth athletes instruction, enjoyment, and competition in the sport of baseball. Our goal is for each child to have fun while learning the skills necessary to play, and to develop physically and socially to reach their maximum potential. We are dedicated to providing positive role models and use baseball to teach life lessons that will help build character, leadership and teamwork in our children, with the hope that it will enhance their lives beyond the sport.
While considered to be a "summer sport", WAA Baseball provides year 'round activities to assist kids of all ages in continuing to develop their skills. Special clinics, sandlot leagues, tournament teams, summer/fall leagues, and many other activities are available to maintain a continuous involvement in baseball.
We have leagues for kids as young as 5-6 years old all the way through to when they graduate from high school. Our goal isn't to be the "winningest", but to teach the fundamentals, encourage players growth and skill, and to have fun with the best sport in the world. Our program has both house and travel divisions, to teach and develop new, younger players and to compete with the best players in our area! Nearly 100% of the players on local school teams played Little League Baseball like WAA!
It takes a team of people to manage the activities of all of these programs each year, but with the help of many volunteers including parents and families (like yours), we get it done every year!
