| League Info: | In the Developmental league, the players hit off of a tee in the first inning, then the coaches pitch the rest of the game. Each batter gets 6 chances to hit a pitched ball. If a fair ball is not hit, the tee is brought out. All players on the team play in the field defensively, and rules are in place to keep base running simple. The team on offense bats 8 players or until the defense records 3 outs. Soft safety baseballs are used. Players must be rotated defensively. |
